About Fastnet Internet Services in Keystone Heights
FastNet Internet & Computer Services, Inc. was established in May of 2009 for the purpose of providing high-speed internet service to Lake Area residents who don’t currently have access to broadband internet such as Comcast & DSL. Currently the only three service types that are available in these areas are dial-up, cell or satellite service.
FastNet has been diligent in researching the best possible service types to deliver high-speed internet and has determined that a wireless network is the most efficient means. There are some challenges because of the trees and water. Wireless signals work best with a clear line of sight, but we have found equipment that can overcome this.
We realize that in some cases, a customer my need computers, routers, or other computer equipment. FastNet can supply and install such equipment.
